The Fall

Then the LORD God said, "It is not good for the man to be alone; I will make him a helper suitable for him."... So the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon the man, and he slept; then He took one of his ribs and closed up the flesh at that place. The LORD God fashioned into a woman the rib which He had taken from the man, and brought her to the man. The man said, "This is now bone of my bones, And flesh of my flesh; She shall be called Woman, Because she was taken out of Man."*   "It is not good for man to be alone..." If you are young or old you probably have a desire to be with other people. Have you ever felt alone? It is a terrible feeling. God never wants us to feel alone and He never wants us to be alone. God designed people to be together and to share things in common.   ...and let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day drawing near.   From the beginning to the end of time God wants us to love each other and not be alone. The good news is that God wants to live in you. He wants a loving friendship with you so that you will never be alone. Genesis 2:18, 21-23, Hebrews 10:24-25 (NASB)
