Paul knew his mission was to the Gentiles. The best place to find people (Jews and Gentiles) that believed in the one true God, was the synagogue. As usual Paul found some that would believe the good news and some who had a hard hearts. A different name is given in the devotional Bible text for Christianity. What is this name? The Way. This is not such a bad name because Jesus said: | | | "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.* | | |
