Jesus Crucifixion
This is based on the Bible but it's not exactly the Bible.
Trevor met Adreana the morning after the Passover dinner. "Adreana, I had the Passover meal with the greatest Jewish Teacher of our time last night. His name is Jesus and He taught us many wonderful things. But He did give us the impression that He may die soon," Trevor spoke with confusion. "Oh, Trevor, I have some bad news for you. Last night I went to bring a meal to my master in Pilate's Palace and I saw a gentle looking man there who was badly beaten. So I asked my master who he was. And he said that some called him Jesus and some called him King of the Jews." said Andreana. "That could not have been the Jesus who was at my house because He and His disciples went to the Mount of Olives last night." replied Trevor. "Trevor, my master said that the soldiers of the High Priest captured this Jesus at the Mount of Olives last night." Trevor looked at Adreana in shock. "Adreana, what did your master say they were going to do with Jesus?" "I think in honor of your people's Passover, Pilate was going to let your people decide at a meeting this morning." Adreana replied. "Quick leave your water jug. We must go and help Jesus!" Trevor said as he grabbed Adreana's hand and they rushed off.
Trevor loves and respects Jesus. Trevor thought again and again of John the Baptists' words concerning Jesus:
"Behold, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!*
Trevor remembers since he was a little boy His father would follow the Passover as commanded by God:
Your lamb shall be an unblemished male a year old; you may take it from the sheep or from the goats.'You shall keep it until the fourteenth day of the same month, then the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel is to kill it at twilight.
For fourteen days that sheep was Trevor's pet; he would play with it and it would even snuggle up and sleep with him, and he grew to love it very much. Then after fourteen days, His father grabbed the helpless lamb and killed it for the Passover. Trevor could not let this happen to Jesus. That is why he ran with Adreana to save Jesus. Trevor does not realize it but Jesus is in the process of saving Adreana and Trevor. The good news is that Jesus wants to save us all!"
