Jesus Heals The Blind Man
Jesus and His disciples visit Jerusalem
As He passed by, He saw a man blind from birth. And His disciples asked Him, "Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he would be born blind?" Jesus answered, "It was neither that this man sinned, nor his parents; but it was so that the works of God might be displayed in him. "We must work the works of Him who sent Me as long as it is day; night is coming when no one can work. "While I am in the world, I am the Light of the world." *
Many people struggle with difficult things in their lives. People struggle with physical challenges like being blind, lame or deaf. Other people struggle trying to live with very little food or shelter. Jesus' constant thoughts are to do the works of God. God's work is to reach out and help people that struggle. Notice that Jesus said "We". When He said "We" He is including you and me in God's work. Reach out as Jesus did to the struggling people that you meet. Do not think of why they may be struggling, like it may have been their fault, but instead allow God to work through you to bless others. Jesus is in this world. Jesus is in every person that believes He is Lord, and has invited Him into their heart. See the good news. Allow His light to shine through you and give this dark struggling world hope.
