Jesus Heals The Lame Man

Based on the Bible but not exactly the Bible. Josh is paralyzed and cannot walk. Josh's friends carry him to a village in Galilee where they hope Jesus can heal Josh. As they approach the village it was very crowded. "Look! It's no use, you will never get me through that crowd to see Jesus," said Josh. Josh's friends did not give up that easily. "not finding any way to bring him in because of the crowd, they went up on the roof and let him down through the tiles with his stretcher, into the middle of the crowd, in front of Jesus."* No one had ever seen this before, including Josh. Everyone's eyes were on Josh. Some were laughing, some were shocked including the owner of the house. Now Josh saw Jesus face to face. Everyone looked at Jesus. What would He say? Would He be angry with them? Josh's friends knew that Jesus had the power to help Josh. Their goal was to have Josh meet Jesus and be healed. When some obstacles got in the way, like a crowd of people, they used their imagination to think of another way to get Josh to Jesus. Do your friends need Jesus? The Bible says:   "For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."*   Everyone sins and everyone needs Jesus. Be a good friend, and in love, do everything that you can imagine to bring your friends to Jesus. Bring them to church. Give them a Bible. Show them the "Good News".
