Based on the Bible but not exactly the Bible.
It was very unusual for Jews to visit a Roman at his home. When Domitius asked three Jewish friends to come to his home, they came because they respected Domitius. "Shalom Domitius, it is good to see you again. How can we help you?" Beracha asked. "My friend Rolius is deathly ill, and I care for him greatly. I have heard of a great man of God among your people. His name is Jesus. Can you please go to Capernium and ask Jesus to heal Rolius?" Well, Beracha, Dekel and Chazon were shocked. They talked excitedly with each other. Dekel said: "I am not sure what I think of this Jesus. I don't feel like asking Jesus to heal a Roman slave." Chazon murmered. "We three are respected elders in the synagogue. My wife will think I have gone crazy!" Complained Dekel. "Keep your mind on all the good things that Domitius has done for we Jews. We can not refuse his request. End of discussion!" interrupted Baracha. Then he told Domitus "We will go to Jesus with your request." Domitius was relieved.
God loves the Jews. God sent His Son to the Jews first. Domitius so respected the Jews that he helped them build a house of worship (a synagogue). Now Domitius must ask three Jewish Elders to bring Jesus to heal his slave Rolius. Like Domitius it is through the Jewish people that we have learned of Jesus. Like Domitius we should love the one true God and then also love, respect and help the Jewish people. God has spoken to Abraham concerning Him and the Jewish people.
...and I will bless those who bless you, And the one who curses you I will curse. And in you all the families of the earth will be blessed.*
Now how have all the families of the earth been blessed through the Jewish people? God sent His only Son, Jesus to become a Jew. And Jesus saves all who believe in Him from sin and death. And that is good news!
