Based on the Bible but not exactly the Bible.
When the word spread that Jesus was in the city, crowds grew very rapidly. Many people in the city wanted to see and hear Jesus. People came for different reasons. Many wanted to see the man that some said was a great prophet. The nation of Israel had not seen a great prophet for over 400 years. Many were saying that John the Baptist was a prophet. John the Baptist said concerning Jesus:
As for me, I baptize you with water for repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, and I am not fit to remove His sandals; He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.
Some said Jesus was a great teacher. Zola in our story thought Jesus was a great miracle worker and wanted Jesus to heal his dad. Even today a great many people have different ideas of who Jesus was.
It was very important to Jesus that the ones He loved knew who He was. One time he asked His disciples (His faithfully followers)...
..."who do the people say that I am?" They answered and said, "John the Baptist, and others say Elijah; but others, that one of the prophets of old has risen again." And He said to them, "But who do you say that I am?" And Peter answered and said, "The Christ of God."
God revealed to Peter that Jesus was the Messiah, the One that the Old Testament Prophets said God would send to save and restore His people. Who do you say God is? The good news is: Jesus is the Son of God.
